Police in Gosport have arrested a 57-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

The pair were arrested after police carried out a warrant in Astra Walk, Gosport.

Officers that attended the scene said Class A controlled drugs were located inside the premises and that the drugs were seized.

A 57-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

While police were at the address, a 38-year-old male visited the property and was stopped and searched by officers.

He was found to be in the possession of ‘some Amphetamine.’

The 38-year-old has been interviewed and will receive a conditional caution for Possession of the controlled drug, police said.

Inspector Sam Warne said: “I am not happy to sit back and wait for those involved in drug supply to ruin the lives of communities in our town.

“This is not just about the drugs, it’s about the criminality that stems from its use to the profit of those supplying it.
